About Us

The House Of Extra Measures was founded by Randy Jo Baker, LVN with 15 years in recovery services, to fill the need for effectively structured communal living for newly recovering women. Director of the home, Randy Jo supports the statistics that women in early recovery benefit significantly from a peer-based atmosphere of family, accountability and structure.

Conveniently located in safe, historic Woodland Heights, close to downtown on the Metro bus line. Nearby are parks, jogging trails, tennis courts and numerous 12-step recovery meetings.
